THE ROAD TO SUSTAINABILITY: THE COMMITMENT OF TARÌ

We live our share of responsibility on a daily basis towards the major issues that affect not only the environment, but the whole of society and the production of economic value. We aim to orient our choices with the objective of forecasting, measuring and managing their impacts in all areas of sustainability with increasing awareness. We consider stakeholder engagement among our priorities. Entrepreneurs, professionals, communicators, trainers, exponents of institutions and the world of finance, are at Tarì’s side in a concrete way, daily proposing different and essential perspectives to focus on the complex role that a reality like ours plays in the territory

A SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY

With our 400 companies and more than 2,000 daily visitors, we represent a very large and diverse community of entrepreneurs, professionals, artisans, buyers, students. We are aware that all the sustainability initiatives and projects that the Goldsmiths’ Centre undertakes have an important impact on the community, and help to spread the principles of environmental, economic and social responsibility in everyday life. For this reason, Tarì is a sustainable community.

ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY

The pillars of Tarì’s economic sustainability are centred on efficient management of the economic value generated and distributed. Our aim is to ensure the growth of our ecosystem of companies and people according to principles of fair, solidarity-based, innovative and inclusive value creation and sharing.

SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY

The adoption of transparent governance and an effective corporate compliance system ensure a solid relationship of trust between all stakeholders in our community. Il Tarì adopts and monitors all regulatory instruments that ensure the promotion of social justice, health, education, gender equality, inclusion and the democratic participation of all in the choices and actions of the community.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

We accept the challenge to consciously measure our footprint and the footprint of our actions in the environment and the territory in which we operate. We are committed to measuring and reporting our environmental impacts, to be able to reduce negative ones and to promote measurable and concrete compensatory actions. We promote a culture of environmental sustainability that involves the entire value chain, in which everyone feels responsible for their personal contribution to the wellbeing of the community.

EVENT SUSTAINABILITY

In organising all our events, we adopt sustainability criteria that aim to protect the environment, encourage responsible use of resources, facilitate a circular economy, propose alternative forms of communication, and respect criteria of inclusion and enhancement of each individual in the organisation. We contribute through our events to enhance the cultural, creative, artistic and productive resources of the territory and the country.

SUPPLY CHAIN

More and more business worlds are forging valuable relationships and interconnections that are destined to grow over time. By virtue of this unstoppable process, our stakeholder engagement activity also concerns the supply chain. Enhancing skills and specificities of the territory, spreading the organisational culture, sharing a growing attention to environmental and people safety, promoting inclusive training projects are actions that allow us to grow together with our suppliers and make them partners in our success.
